Gerringong Fire Chief Visits Engine 226

Chris Robinson, the recently retired chief of the Gerringong Fire Brigade, visited Engine 226 while on a trip around the world. Ginger O'Brien, who was one of the coordinators of the Gerringong Cares Fundraiser, held this past October to benefit the families of the 4 men from Engine 226 lost on 9/11, happened to be in NY at the same time and joined him. They were treated to a dinner cooked by Lorraine DeRubbio and met Jessica who was on her way to watch an Islander game (they lost by the way.)

Chief Robinson presents Capt. Carew with shirts and hats from the Gerringong Fire Brigade and local pubs who participated in October's fundraiser.

Mike Mason gives Chris a memorial bracelet as a show of thanks for everything the Gerringong community did on behalf of Engine 226.
