On September 24,2002 five members of Engine 226 joined the NYC MS chapter at a bowling event in Queens as a part of the firehouse's commitment to help the MS society through volunteerism. The firefighters who lent a hand were: Anthony Sutera, Dave Pace, Mike Mason , Charles Stephan and Steve Lee.
